FYI For all Members

Like every forum on the internet we are subject to being infiltrated by spam bots.  These spammers are able to access the system masquerading as a new member.

Some while still a "spammer" are relatively benign just an irritant as they are the ones that have links to various websites attempting to sell you either low cost meds from dubious sources or a host of other mass marketing nonsense.

The second type of spam bot is far more serious.  These are the porn spam bots.  They will like the mass marketing type gain access to the forum and generally will have a page filled with their filth. 

There is no redeeming social value in the garbage they wish to subject our members to.

While the staff is diligent in removing posts and initiating bans we do need your help.

If you are going through the threads and come across spam be it mass marketing or porn get hold of a Moderator/Global Moderator or Admin.

Instead of going from board to board seeing if one of us is online, go to the bottom of the homepage and look at the names of the members online.

The admins usernames are in RED, moderators are in BLUE, and  the GLobals are a Dark Purple. 

Click on the username and you will go to their profile page and you will be able to click the  PM link.  Do this in addition to clicking the report to moderator link in the message body.

Let's keep this forum garbage free.
