Hello. I am sure
www.lge.com knows what they are talking about so they are probably the best source. The one individual said that it is a cable connection, which means they use it or the usb connection we use to charge it with, who knows. Generally speaking I think with electronics, such as computers, phones, pda's, etc. it is a good idea not to be curious and see what happens unless you do not mind trips to the store. But than again not all things need trips to the store, check here first. Here is my example:
Somehow I had my user password set so when it powered up it locked the phone. I called Verizon and the CS Rep said to call #228 and then tried walking me through reprogramming, but when we got to the part where it said please press 1, I was unable to because the button was not pressable so I could not unlock it. Then they transferred me to tech support who said he would research it with his team members, came back and said I needed to take it to the store and since I have VIP with Verizon that it would be free. Well I tried typing in the number sequences one at a time trying to save a trip of 45 minutes each way (when gas was about 4) and was unable to access the code. Then I did another search on this page and I found a section that said if I were to dial #22899 it would reprogram the code phone and put the codes back to where there were at default. This is not right for some of course because it is valuable info, but was a lifesaver for me, THANKS AGAIN GUYS RESPONSIBLE, U SAVED MY DAY
