Is there any way to change the default entry method when entering a calendar item?  It's "Abc" and would like it to be "Word".

Until someone pipes in...

I haven't tried this yet (and don't know if it works on the Calendar) - so, you will be the guinea pig.

Turn to Page 56 in your Owner's Manual...

9. Settings - Allows you to configure settings for your messages.

1. Unlock the screen by touching or pressing the Unlock Key on the left side of your phone, then touch Menu to access the menu.
2. Touch the Messaging icon .
3. Place your finger on the Touch Screen and apply gentle upward pressure to scroll the list up, then touch .
4. Touch one of the settings.

Message Settings Sub-Menu Descriptions

Entry Mode (Word/ Abc/ ABC/ 123) - Allows you to select the default input mode.
