Samoxin - this may sound like a dumb question, but do you have a memory card in the phone? If yes, you can transfer the movies from the phone's internal memory to the memory card, and then it's pretty easy to get the video to your computer.
Here's a step-by-step method to transfer your videos from your phone to your computer, and then convert those videos to mp4 format.
This process can only be used if you have a memory card in the phone.1. Download and install the following free software
http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-3GP-Video-Converter.htm 2. If you haven't already, install the Dare driver on your computer (so you can transfer files using USB Mass Storage mode)
3. If you saved your videos to your memory card, skip to step 4. Otherwise, if the videos are on the phone's internal memory, select My Videos (Media Center -> Picture & Video -> My Videos), check mark the video to transfer, select Options (bottom right corner), select Move, select To Card, select Yes. In the future you should save your videos directly to the memory card by changing your settings - Settings & Tools -> Memory -> Save Options -> Videos -> Card Memory
4. Connect your phone to your computer with the USB cable, then select Setting & Tools -> Tools -> USB Mass Storage
5. Open My Computer on your computer, and then open your phone drive (on my computer it is Removable Disk (I)
6. Open the My_Flix folder and you will see all of your videos. FYI - the Dare naming convention for videos is - monthdayyeartime. So a video shot at 9am on September 7, 2008 would be named 0907080900.3g2
7. Select the videos you want to transfer and then cut/copy them to a folder on your computer
8. Exit USB Mass Storage Mode on your phone
9. Open the Free 3GP Video Converter program you installed in step 1
10. On the line for Input Video File, select Browse and then select the video you transferred from your phone to your computer in step 7. If you want to convert multiple videos at once, select Switch To Batch Mode
11. Confirm where the new mp4 video will be saved. By default the program will save it to the same location your video is located, but you can save it anyplace you want.
12. Under Formats, select the format you want to convert to. MP4 Video is the most common, and the one we will use for this tutorial.
13. Select the output resolution under Presets. For general viewing, use iPod Touch High Quality. If someone else is going to view the video on their Dare, use iPod Classic High Quality. The difference is only the screen size, iPod Classic High Quality converts to 320x240 which is the size of the Dare screen for videos.
14. Select Convert
15. Done, your video is now in MP4 format. It can be emailed to someone or played on your computer using your default video player (Windows Media Player, QuickTime, etc.)
It sounds like a lot of work, but once you get used to it, it only takes a minute or less.
