What is the 8300 file structure does it have the same file structure as the Dare?  The Dare will look for items in certain folders.  You cannot have sub folders for example.  You can fill a 8gb card for example with music, checking the properties will tell you the card is full.  But if in the my_music folder you have inadvertently put your music into a sub folder or sub folders the Dare cannot read it.

I formatted a new 4GB card using the dare, put it in a usb reader and the same directory structure was present as on the card from my 8300.  The was an additional directory called media as well.

http://digital-video-converter.en.softonic.com/  link to a FREE dvd converter software I have been using for 6 mos or so.

I am totally new to this site and already found the USB mass storage thingy to work great for me and played a song on my phone for the first time tonight. LOL I have had the phone for months.

Anyways, I just used the DVC video converter to make a short video to play on my phone and it worked great. Right now I am trying to convert a whole Disney movie and will get back to you if it works - I too have the audio/video matching issue when converting MOV files to AVI files.

Perhaps if you found an Apple forum they could help.  Moving this to the off topic other computer board.

OK ... followed directions exactly. Think I am having a problem with SUPER ... The DVD Decrypter works great, I drag it into SUPER and get NO errors ... it starts converting and goes for about 10 mins and finishes without any errors whatsoever ... but the file it outputs is pretty choppy, and only is about 20 mins of a 90 min movie.

I have tried this with several different DVDs ... same result every time. Its choppy, and the output file from SUPER is only 20mins long when its done ...

Any Suggestions?

Thanks

What's up?  I can't get it to work!  I tried many different settings, and I always get an error.
I've tried converting .avi, .mp4, and others.

Any ideas?
I'm running Vista x64 with PLENTY of speed and RAM.  I run it in compatibility for XP (SP2) and Administrator rights.

I Realize this is an old topic, but look up Videora LG Dare Converter. Works like a charm, easy to use. Converts within a half an hour for a one and a half hour movie on a 8 year old computer. I'd say thats decent. I just had nothing but problems with SUPER.
