I have my husband set as one of my I.C.E. contacts...obviously. But I also have him as his own contact. Whenever he calls me or texts me it comes up I.C.E. and I don't like that I'd rather it come up with his name and picture. Does anyone know how to fix this so I can see his handsome face again without taking him out of my I.C.E. contacts? My mother is also an I.C.E. and her name & pix comes up...only does this on my husbands.

Thanks for any and all help in advance!

That's weird..all 3 of my I.C.E contacts come up with their name and picture when they call.  The only thing different is their names are in red in my contacts list.

Did you add him as an ICE contact AND as a regular contact or add him as ICE FROM his original contact??  I think that might make a difference.   At least that's the way I did mine and it works like a champ.  Smiley

He was already added as a contact when I pulled up the Back up Assistant thing from my own phone, and then I assigned him as an I.C.E. contact. Anytime he calls or texts me it comes up I.C.E. instead of his name. I've deleted him from I.C.E. and reassigned him and still the same thing. Quite frustrating.  Undecided

i would try deleting his contact all together and then put it back into your phone like a new contact........ see if that works

First off...I.C.E. = In Case of an Emergency

And secondly...I'm such a goober! I totally forgot that my Env didn't have that I.C.E. thing like the new phones do...so I made my own, THAT is why dear husbands name kept coming up with the I.C.E. instead of his name. So I deleted that contact and all is good now. Can't believe it took me like HOURS to figure this one out! Yikes!!!!!!

Thanks for all the help though...I do appreciate it!

I just had the exact same thing happen!  Mine happened when I backed up my contacts from a KRZR K1m.  I had my father's cell number listed as the I.C.E. contact.  For whatever reason, yesterday it started coming up with the handmade I.C.E. entry in my phone instead of the original contact entry.

angel  Thank you so much for returning to post your solution!  If I hadn't come across this topic, I'm sure I would have also spent several hours trying to figure it out!  I just cleaned out my contact list the other day, and I completely glossed over that second I.C.E. entry.

Thanks again!
