Long story short....Smirnoff Ice and the Dare to NOT mix well.

the button in the lower right corner (hang up) no longer clicks when I press it.  Still works but feels a bit...sticky.

any thoughts on how to clean that?

You might try some Plasma/LCD (TV) cleaner.  You know, put a little on some soft clothes and rub it around the phone...

Of course it is the sugars and all that make for the "sticky"...as long as it functions, I think any attempted cure would result in a worse outcome.

If you are willing to risk it, take the battery out and leave it out until totally done.  I would take a bit of 200 proof alcohol (available at Drug stores) and with an eyedropper flushout the area in and around the call end key.  The 200 proof will disolve the sugars.  Be extremely careful with the 200 proof..flammable.  If you are careful and use it sparingly you should get the key back to non sticky, not blow yourself up or activate a water damage marker.

Let things dry COMPLETELY before putting battery back it.

Spill? Booze?  Never happened.  We were as a class teetotalers...refined warriors of the skies...singing round the campfire drinking tea and singing kumbaya...

I may end up leaving it alone as I don't want to make things worse.  Works like a champ just not as tactile as it once was.

I am wondering if there is a way to get that portion of the phone off the keys?  Don't know if you can do it easily.

Update.....I took a swab and some 99% iso alky and dribbled onto the keys that were sticking.

Pressed them a few times and it cleaned them right up.

Good work, must have been crusted underneath
