...mode it switches back to Abc...
Remember seneye - the SEARCH Feature is your friend.

Here are a few hits...

Sure is.  Press the message icon on the home screen, press the bottom right options box, then press settings.  From there press entry mode, and then Word.  Then you're all set.
When texting, does anyone know how to make the WORD Entry mode the default mode (as opposed to Abc mode)
Main Menu -> Messaging -> Settings -> Entry Mode
Just change that to Word.

Also - just in case you are in Mobile IM...

The default setting on Mobile IM is ABC. There is no way to save it to any other setting.

This is a reported "bug" listed on:  New Bugs in Version 5 Software

yes i know this.  I have it set to word already, my question is when i go from the dial keys(not full keyboard) to full keyboard then back to dial keys (not not keyboard) while in one txt.  It goes from Word then to full keyboard but switches to Abc when i switch back to dial keys after using the full keyboard. Shocked handful to read. but hope you understood that.   My question is is there a way for when i switch back to the dial keys it will be on Word?

It does the same thing to me too...... it must just be something they forgot to fix. Just change it real quick when you leave the dial pad.... Its annoying, but not that tough...

This is a new bug that came about when the V05 update was released. Phones that are running V03 do not experience this problem.
