There are a number of ways to get ringtones on your phone.
1)
You can use BitPim. BitPim is a free program which allows you to access the files on your phone. This is the fastest and easiest way to load a lot of ringtones to your phone.
2) You can email the ringtone to your phone. Send the ringtone to
YOURTENDIGITNUMBER@vzwpix.comIf it doesn't go through, or gets bounced, send it again. It usually takes more than one try. Your phone should get a Pix/Flix message, that will have the attachment. You should be able to save and set it as a ringtone.
3) You can purchase the ringtones directly from Verizon. This method should only be used if you don't mind wasting money!!
The Dare can play any mp3, midi or wma file as a ringtone. You can obtain free ringtones from
www.zedge.net/ringtones or
www.myxer.com/Ringtones Just download the ringtone to your computer and then transfer the file to your phone using method 1 or 2 above.
