Just to reiterate the rule, this site does NOT tolerate swearing.   If you swear you are gone.  Simple.  If you don't like the rule, go to a different forum.

While DDD's words are strict, they are the truth. As of lately, it seems that swearing is becoming a problem. We do have censors built in, but it is still against the rules to swear. We want to keep this forum as friendly as possible, and swearing does not help with this goal.

Just to emphasize what Da Dare Dude posted:

Relying on the auto censor to replace letters with asterisks is not a swearing free pass.  If you feel you have to use swearing as a forum of punctuation you are definitely in the wrong forum.

This forum has ZERO tolerance towards profanity or insults geared toward staff. Grounds for an automatic ban. We want to keep this a safe, pleasant environment.

Which by the way is why I like to be at these forums.  There are way to many forums out there that let this get out of hand and it is in my opinion a major nuisance.  Keep up the good work mods!

Seems kind of nazi of you guys, but I guess there's really no reason to swear on a phone forum...

My feeling is if you only speak when you need to your words will be heard without the need to swear.  Words can carry a heavy tone with just the simple necessary reply.  When you reply to every little thing, or just talk to talk, of course people may tune you out. IMO
