3D (Three-axis-accelerometer) Rotation
3D (Three-axis-accelerometer) Rotation is a feature that allows you to have flexibility in how you view content on your screen. Simply turn your DARE device from vertical to horizontal (or horizontal to vertical ) and get a whole new perspective. DARE senses the change in orientation and automatically adjusts to fit the screen. View an image in wide screen orientation. This feature is helpful when you're looking at your pictures, browsing your music by album artwork, viewing Browser websites, or even entering text (Owner's Manual Page 32).

Airplane Mode (Standalone Mode)

Get It Now is Verizon Wireless' implementation of Qualcomm's BREW technology, allowing a user to download and use applications on a Verizon Wireless Get It Now-enabled phone. It is a proprietary interface to download ringtones, music, games, applications, and use instant messaging on a phone. Users usually are unable to load content on the Verizon Wireless phones outside of Get It Now system; this is done for financial reasons. Verizon Wireless has exclusivity agreements with its Get It Now content providers (this is a walled garden system). Sometimes cell phone enthusiasts perform unsupported modifications to their phones or use 3rd-party software to make the phone accept non- Get It Now -originated content, or use free services that send ringtones through picture messaging, like Mobile17. In 2008 Verizon Wireless announced that their "Get It Now" service will be renamed "Media Center" on all their future phones beginning with the LG EnV2.

Copyright Restrictions
From this point on, we no longer will allow the uploading of system files of the LG Dare. This includes World Clock, EZ Tip Calc, etc.
While we know that since you own the phone, the files within it are "yours", we do have users on the forum who do not own a Dare, and thus by uploading these files, we the forum are illegally hosting these files.
I will say that we have no control over what you share with each other via email, PM, other sites, etc...
We apologize for the inconvenience, but this has to be done to prevent any possible legality problems with the forum.

The Recent Calls Menu is a list of the last phone numbers or Contact entries for calls you placed, accepted, or missed. It's continually updated as new numbers are added to the beginning of the list and the oldest entries are removed from the bottom of the list (Owner's Manual Page 62).
