I just ordered an extended battery on July 3rd. The salesperson said "comes with battery and case" so we'll see how bulky it makes the phone. I'll post some pics and a review in a couple of days.

I'll be interested to see what it looks like.  I definitely want the extended battery, but don't know if I want the additional bulk.

How much more life does the expanded battery have over the normal one?

Here are some pics with measurments for the extended battery. The phone dimensions without the Ebattery are 4.1 x 2.2 x 0.5 (104 x 56 x 13 mm). I think it adds about .4mm x .29mm hump to the back. You can't see it really when its laying down only when you pick it up. It doesn't feel too bad. I'm still using it so I can't tell you what you can expect from battery life except what I've read.
Phonearena say the normal battery life is
Type Li - Ion
Capacity 1100 mAh
Talk time 4.66 hours the average is 6 h (360 min)Stand-by time 360 hours the average is 287 h (12 days)

my past experience with extended batteries (chocolate/envy/voyager) is an extra 2hours of talk time and 2/3 days of additional standby time. I can't find any ratings online for the extended 1500 mah battery.

It's pretty bulky and really detracts from the look of the phone, but I have to have one with my work situation. Away from home on a train with no way to charge my phone! I probably should have went with another standard battery. Oh well. live and learn

Thanks for posting the pics.... Yeah, I've been considering getting the extended battery, but so far the standard is working out just fine. I'll agree with the crowd and pass for now.
