Bringing it back up since, I'm thinking about getting one.
Didn't want to start a new thread.
The battery wouldn't be as bad if it looked like this. Sorry for taking your pic without permission. Didn't think it would be a big deal nunley.

Just had another thought, just ordered my Invisible Shield today. Damn it. I guess it won't be fitting on that.

I think we should outsource to China and have them make up a battery back cover.  angel

Yeah yeah, weh weh. I know it's still a little ugly. But after cleaning it up a bit, it would look clean enough, I'd jump on one. I know you agree this looks a lot better.

i looked at the date of the post when you provided the pictures.  it has been a while since you got the battery.  so, since that time have you continued to use the extended battery?  if so, are you pleased with the battery even though you did not like what it did for the appearance? and, does the extension of the back of DARE have a better feel in your hand when you are talking on the phone?

i was thinking about getting one because of my obsession with watching the movies i have converted (i get bored at work a lot) and i do like to web browse.

i may be the minority, but, i don't think it looks that bad at all.

I got the extended battery. Its  a little fat but you get used to it. Its defiantly better in terms of battery life. I use Vcast and the mp3 player heavily so  I need it.  If you use the functions a lot on the dare and find your self running to the AC outlet in the middle of the day go for the extended.   angel
