I hear a lot of people say things like "Thanks, that deserves a cookie!", so how do I give them?

You have to have something like 15 post, not exactly sure of the number. Then you will see "Give a cookie" and "Take a cookie" on the left side of each persons post, under their name.

When you see the 'give a cookie" and "take a cookie" you can award or take away cookies.  We ask you use them in the manner that they option was intended.

If someone has been helpful, pointed you in the right direction, provided the answer you needed...you give a cookie.  Conversely, if they really did some bonehead stunt, you can 'take a cookie'.  We ask that you don't go on a give or take spree with the cookies. 

They are the forums version of the "good stars' on school homework when we were kids....
