pretty amazing, since I have yet to see someone with the phone in person.  I see a lot of people with iPhones though, which I question, why?  ATT service in my area is a known crappy service.  I live close to a ton of woods.  Pretty much, its Sprint or Verizon for coverage here.  I used to have ATT and I couldn't wait for my contract to end.  I didn't even have service in my house, and we didn't have a home phone either.  I felt like the Verizon guy, except getting the response of nothing.  Absolute crap I tell you.

Like the American people however a large number of the membership comprise "the Silent Majority".  Scanning the membership pages you can go for pages without seeing a single entry in the post column.  I hope that they are using the forum to get valid information even if they are silent about it.

Two roles for the forum: 1) Information the giving and receiving of.
and 2) a modest form of a social network as a community of owners.

Yeah thats true..alot of people come and get the info they need and dont post..but at least there getting what they need to know for the phone

My other forums have a mechanism by which they know I haven't been there in awhile and I get an email asking me to come on by and see what is happening.  I wonder if LG-Dare has such a mechanism and can email the vast silent majority.  Perhaps it can be informative and give a blurb about the latest and greatest tutorial post...I am fairly active and I learn something new almost daily.

I am pretty sure I can send an email to members who have not been active in the past X amount of days...I will double check. Might be something to consider doing.
