Wow! LG-Dare.com has reached an AMAZING member count of 50,000! This is incredible, especially since less than a year ago there were less than 1000 members on the site.

I am thrilled, yet sad as I write this. I am proud of what this forum has become, but I am also sad. Stickying this thread will be the last Administrative task I do here at LG-Dare.com. Effective immediately after I submit this post, I am resigning from my Admin position, and completely handing the reigns over to FA1SGL, vpnavy, and the rest of the staff.

It has been a great run LG-Dare.com, and I am anxious to see this forum continue to grow!

We might not be the biggest phone forum member-wise on the internet but for a single phone specific forum reaching this milestone is one hell of an accomplishment.

Fifty thousand might seem small when compared to other numbers but having seen how other forums operate and how chaotic they can be I am right proud of the members of this forum.

On the whole this forum is a breath of fresh air in how the members for lack of a better term "behave".  So to the 50K I say "Thanks".

To all the staff members thanks for what you all do on a day to day basis. 

To Jeff "Corsairkid", you done good.  You might have gone over to the Darkside but you are welcome to stray back into the sunlight at any time.

50k+, the highest memberships count within the forum network.  Corsairkid, while I respect your decision, it's sad to see you stepping down. I am sure we all agree that you were a great leader, I can see the ones you've chosen are great leaders too. Please do stick around and hang with your old friends.

I hardily second the assessment of Jeff and his contribution to the success of the forum.  He will, I am sure be a frequent visitor.

On a sidenote, check out the discount from Zagg.  You cannot go wrong with an InvisibleShield screen protector and that is sweet discount.

There is nothing more aggravating than trying to scroll through a surface scratch mark.  Even with various discounts the Dare remains a big investment.  You get outstanding protection for your Dare and you support one of our advertisers who make the forum possible.

I received a Blackberry Curve for a graduation gift, and have sold my Dare. That, plus my upcoming time commitments would make it impractical to remain an active Admin here.
