Verizon released a few more Apps today, nothing to get too excited about though.

1) AstroLove 2: "Look to the stars for answers with AstroLove 2! Find out what the zodiac says about your personality and relationships."
$2.99 - Subscription
$5.99 - Unlimited
IMO, very stupid App.

2) What's on your mind: "This amazing App uses new Magic Comment technology to instantly turn your thoughts into graphics! Check out a huge range of funny & downright weird thoughts and track interesting people!"
$2.99 - Subscription
IMO, another stupid APP.

3) Accuweather.com: "Recieve weather warnings; play and zoom radar; check ten-day, Hour-by-Hour and international forecasts. English and Spanish."
$3.99 - Subscription
IMO, useless App since i have the web for weather.

Ok, I will admit that THESE particular aps are a complete waste of time.  And yet, this is what the community has been demanding.  We have always wanted what the apple store has, and we are getting what the store has - a crapload of useless aps that make people feel like those phone is more useful.

Anyway, rant aside.. what can you do?  I hope people will vote with their wallets, and ignore these pieces or garbage (especially the Love and Comment ones....)..

Cool another weather app to pay for.

And this is not what people want when they talk about the iphone app store.  There are silly apps there but many of the are free and NONE of them are making you pay monthly like the bulls*** Verizon tries with almost all their apps.

Rock on rio!!!

Dont forget the array of games that are FREE and not useless for the iphone. Yes there are some stupid apps but not nearly as bad as verizon wanting you to pay so the stars can find your true love.....on your mobile device without looking up into the sky that is. But those stupid apps from apple are not only stupid...but also very free!!

Once again verizon never seizes to amaze....

Don't buy any of them and maybe Verizon will get the point. To pay for these so called "apps" is a complete waste of money. I think down the line that they will probably become free anyway.

haha ubber stupid.

Hey remember all the rants when the guitar tuner app came out? Like how EVERYONE was like WOAH VERIZON, YOU FINALLY SEE THE LIGHT AND ARE GOING TO MAKE SWEET APPS. You remember that. And we all waited for new cool apps to come out. Well weeks later with no apps, these three were released to say... suck it you paying customers. (cant wait to just get my enV2 and forget about this anxious crap)

On the bright side, they are at least releasing apps so we are not completely forgotten.  Maybe it is a sign that more and better apps may be coming.

Yeaaaa your right. Maybe THIS TIME it is a good sign of amazing things to come. Don't mean to be sarcastic and pessimistic, but i have been thinking this from the beginning, and still nothing they put out or announce even puts a nice chill up my spine. Even the v05 was not too hot and even f*ed up my phone, had to get a new one.

Also, they havent forgotton us? Good thing, isn't this supposed to be like the most advanced, non-smartphone device out right now for verizon? I hope they wouldnt just forget about the Dare that quickly. moo. quack. sorry.

You should get the all "exclusive" zodiac app and let us know if it truly is a sign. Verizon thinks its a good idea to just ask the stars...

Still waiting on shipment of Dare...Newbie question - Is there any way to see on-line a list of apps currently available???  Thank you.

Not too excited about these, but happy to see apps being added with all the concerns I have read about so far.

If you have not already done so sign up for My Verizon and you can browse what is available by phone under downloads.

Thanks - I had tried before and had problems on their site, but it is working today.  I have been browsing.  Are there any sites with reviews on these applications (i.e., Metacritic.com or something like that)?
