Okay, was having a rough day and went to grab my cell and it slipped out of my hand.  Went to block it from the floor with my boot like I usually do but my coordination was off and ended up kicking it with my steel toe.  Didn't seem to hit hard though.
I picked it up and it had a line down the scrren at first, I turned it off and back on and I can see the screen light up, but is black (like looking at a powered on LCD screen or something that is on a black page..can see it is on but nothing showing).  I took it apart and did not notice anything wrong, nothing seems to be wrong screen wise, no cracks, dents or anything.  I know that touch screens are generally more sensitive than others, was wondering if there was a fix to this or do I need a new screen or something?   I really like the phone and would like to get it working again, so any help would be a dandy.  Thanks much!
