Replace screen

I have had my phone for a year and a half and a couple months ago there was a little bubble(probably water but im not sure) under the screen located about where the favorites star is. at first it was no problem but then all of a sudden the favorites button was constantly pushed and i could not do anything about it so i took the battery out. then i used my pencil and peeled the corner of screen back just enough to reach the bubble and that was a temp fix. then every week or so the problem came back so i pulled the screen again. it kept getting worse until i had to pull the screen quit a bit back now i can see adhesive along a good portion of the bottom. my phone still works(kinda) and the LCD is fine i can still see the whole picture but its really hard to text and sometimes the touch doesnt work. I think i can just replace the screen but im not sure. any ideas?
