Mini is the type for example that the Moto Razr V3* used. Micro is the newer version that LG and a few other phone makers use on the newer phones. Hmm, I noticed that they also have a 3.5 mm stereo to RCA stereo plug cable.  That would be great for connecting my phone to my home theater amplifier! If you haven't heard of monoprice.com, they're a good company.  I've ordered plenty of stuff from them and it's pretty good quality. I too receive the "unauthorized" message when I plug in the cable I purchased at Staples yet it charges and transfers data. What does the Dare see that I do not?
